Events
The “Jewish Moralistic Writings of the Early Modern Period” Emmy Noether Junior Research Group organises workshop and conferences on a regular basis. These events give us the opportunity to discuss the results of our research with other scholars in the field and to build an international network that will promote the study of musar. In the past, the Emmy Nother Group has been able to collaborate with the Institute of Israel and Jewish Studies at Columbia University in New York City, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, the Open University of Israel, the Department of Jewish Philosophy at Bar Ilan University, Ramat Gan / Israel, the European Association of Jewish Studies, Freie Universität Berlin, the Selma Stern Zentrum für Jüdische Studien Berlin-Brandenburg, the Institute of Judaic Studies at Goethe University Frankfurt, the Martin-Buber-Chair for Jewish Thought and Philosophy at Goethe University Frankfurt, the Zentrum für Kunst und Urbanistik (ZK/U) in Berlin, and the Hochschule für Bildende Künste (HfbK) in Hamburg.
