Happy are the virtuous who have lived pure days, which will endure to the World to Come: when they pass away, those days assemble and create a garment of Glory, in which their soul clothes. It is by that garment that they merit to enjoy the delights of the World to Come and in that garment that they are destined to resurrect. Only those possessing the garment will rise, as it is written 'They stand as a garment' (Job 38:14). Woe to the accountable of the world, whose days have been deducted because of their faults: there will be none of them left to cover themselves with when they depart from the world. And about the accountable of the world, who are not clothed in the garment of their days, it is written ‘He shall be like a tamarisk in the desert and shall not see when good comes’ (Jeremiah 17:6).
