Prior to starting her PhD on musar literature, Amalia Stulin worked on the so-called “Italian Genizah,” contributing to the “Books Within Books: Hebrew Fragments in European Libraries” project. She holds a BA from Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and an MA in history and oriental studies from the University Alma Mater Studiorum of Bologna, where she graduated with honours with an annotated edition of Johannes Bureus’s Kabbalah-inspired work Adulruna Rediviva. Her interests include Hebrew palaeography, with a focus on medieval Italian manuscripts, and Christian Kabbalah. She joined the “Jewish Moralistic Writings of the Early Modern Period” project in 2020.
